Wrestlers Shine at Western New England Tournament
This past weekend, members of the Varsity Wrestling team traveled to Greens Farms for the Western New England Tournament.
As a team, Hopkins brought 14 wrestlers and placed 4th overall. This is the first time in over 20 years that Hopkins has gotten into the top 5 and brought home a plaque. The team placed behind the strong teams of GFA, Brunswick, and Trinity-Pawling. Additionally, Pearson Hill was voted by coaches as the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament. He also placed 1st in his class! The following wrestlers placed in the top 5 for their weight classes:
