JV Closes Out Undefeated Season 4-0 at Suffield

The JV field hockey team put the frosting on the cake this afternoon with a definitive 4-0 win over a strong Suffield team which was backed by a good goalie, but Poppy, in our cage, was fearless with another shut-out today. Cam came in for the second half and helped keep the scoreboard clean for us. Suthi, Emma C., Milán and Lauren played airtight defense, and frustrated every Suffield attempt to go below our 25 yard line. Emma H. Maeve, Shoshana, Erin and Kaila played their most versatile match today, blocking the Suffield attempts to break away, and did an especially effective job at feeding countless balls into the circle and across the Suffield goal. Forwards Maria, Christin, Emma H and Livy, with Maeve  and Milan up top for a while too, were unstoppable with awesome goals by Livy, Chrissy and 2 from Maria. We worked hard to communicate and use our best teamwork to make the win happen and finish without a single loss all season. I couldn’t be more proud of all of this team!
