Sydney Hirsch ’19 Medals at the Junior Olympics
For the third year in a row, Sydney Hirsch (’19) medaled in the Under-20 competition at the USA Fencing Junior Olympics. Last weekend, Sydney placed 6th out of 200 women sabre fencers competing in Denver, Colorado. In her five years of fencing, Sydney has won 15 National and International individual medals.
Congratulations Syd … and good luck to all Hopkins fencers competing in the Connecticut State Championships at Mohegan Sun on March 2nd.
