National Language Exam Awards and Recitations

On Friday, May 17 the Modern Language and Classics departments announced the students who received high scores in the National Language exams. Faculty presenters included Chris Maharidge, Classics Department, Lan Lin, Modern Language Department Chair and Chinese teacher, Tilden Daniels, French teacher, Eleonora Boscolo-Suteu, Italian teacher, and Chris Kozey, Spanish teacher. The National Chinese Honor Society (NCHS) was established in 1993 to recognize those accomplished high school students who study Chinese as a world language. It is a scholastic organization that promotes and recognizes students who demonstrate citizenship, leadership, and community service.
