Hopkins Connects with Marini-Gioia School in Amalfi, Italy

A partnership has been launched between the Marini-Gioia High School in Amalfi, Italy and Hopkins School. This sister-school relationship consists of virtual exchanges for now, but both schools hope to participate in reciprocal visits in the near future. The goal is to foster greater linguistic competency and friendships between the two communities. New Haven and Amalfi are already sister cities connected by their Societies dedicated to Saint Andrew, and by the fact that New Haven holds the largest community of Amalfitani outside of Italy.
