Crowdsourcing a Comic

Students Tell the Story of the Buddha
Students in History teacher Ian Guthrie’s Asian Studies: Buddhism class recently created a comic book that tells the story of the Buddha's life. Each student selected an art style and drew a page of the story. When bound together, the manner of storytelling and depiction changes throughout. This transcience, Guthrie said, is essential to an understanding of the Buddhist worldview. "So they all told the story a little bit at a time, in a flowing, impermanent way," he said.
