Nick L.'23 and Bodhi C. '26 earn honors at CT Science & Engineering Fair

Congratulations to Nick L.'23 and Bodhi C. '26, who earned honors at the 74th annual Connecticut Science and Engineering Fair (CSEF), an annual competition for high school and middle school students, which was held virtually in March 2022.
 
Junior Nick L. competed against over 400 high school projects. His project, "Real-Time Motion Tracking and Data Analytics for Live Insects Using Three-Wheeled Servosphere Robot," won 2nd place overall in the Physical Sciences category, along with several other awards. Nick will represent Connecticut at the International Science Fair in Atlanta, GA in May.
 
8th Grader Bodhi C. entered the CSEF with his project, "Screening for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy using Portable Ultrasound Technology." Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a type of heart disease that can cause sudden death. Bodhi was a finalist, winning 2nd place in the Pfizer Computational Biology and Bioinformatics category, and 4th in the Alexion Biotechnology category.
