Hilltoppers Bested by Crimson

This past Saturday, Hopkins hit the road to travel down to Morristown, NJ to face off against league opponents the Morristown-Beard Crimson.  Heading into the game, the Crimson sat at 3-1 on the season and were eager to atone for their last meeting with Hopkins in 2019, which saw Hopkins erase a first half 20-0 deficit to emerge victorious to head to the league championship game.  Unfortunately for the Hilltoppers, they would not have the same luck this year and Morristown would capitalize on early momentum to win 35-0.  While Hopkins dealt with injuries to key contributors, they had some younger players step up such as Gabe Ciminiello ‘26 and Sean Iheanacho ‘26 in the back half of the defense.  The Hilltoppers will be eager to put this game behind them as they return home this weekend to face Montclair Kimberley Academy for their homecoming game.  Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30pm and we look forward to welcoming our current families and alumni back for the game!
