Hopkins girls XC wins 2nd consecutive regular-season FAA title

The third regular-season FAA meet took place on Wednesday, October 18, at Sherwood Island for a 5k, dually-scored race. All FAA Xc teams participated.

The course was in great shape, and the times across the board were generally quick, with a lot of personal or season bests across the board for both boys and girls.

The girls raced first, and the girls picked up wins against all teams except GA, with some excellent races from all the girls who lined up.

In the boys' race, Hopkins fell to a strong Brunswick team, and won the match-up against the rest of the field.

Full results are here.

The girls finish the regular season with a 26-1 regular-season record and the regular season title, for the second year in row.

The boys finish the regular season with a 20-1 regular-season record and the regular season title, for the 5th consecutive season.

Hopkins XC is looking forward to being at full strength for the FAA championships on Monday, October 30th at Waveny Park.
