Hopkins Team rallies against Westminster

Whitney Stewart
Match away yesterday at Westminster, including 2 of our JV players Nikhet and Derin, with our Varsity lineup changed rather quickly with great attitudes in taking on higher positions!!
Dylan @#1 led the team with a 3-2 win preceded by Ronan easily taking #2 with a decisive 3-0 win! Great job. Benjy playing #3 had close and tough points nearly pulling off win 2-3 against a feisty opponent. Kyle at #4 playing exceptionally well, almost beating his opponent in long well-played points 1-3.  Theo at #5 had gritty points and good match.  David at #6 played tough opponent with good length: David acted as Senior/Captain for the Day for the team thanks for leading.  Evan playing #7 changed his game and got closer to volleying opponent almost turning it. Nikhet rallied against his opponent gallantly at #8 nearly taking match 2-3.  Derin showed his metal at #9 playing Westminster's Tennis captain, who had some squash game.  Result was 2-5 in favor of Westminster, not the goal we had but Team Spirit, behavior and attitude were 100% in alignment with Hopkins standards!!!
