I've begun our match summary with "April is the cruelest month" at least once before, but the sentiment rings true, as the CT weather has not been to kind to tennis enthusiasts the last few weeks. Rain, wind and cold have made for some challenging matches and practices (or lack thereof). We were fortunate to take to the courts today to contend against long-time rival Masters school. All of our Hilltoppers played well and maintained control of the ball despite the swirling winds. Teo, Lucio, Alex and Bryan all were able to change up their strategies to suit the conditions, and were fleet of foot today. Our doubles pairings were also solid this afternoon, and they managed to hit several overhead winners---a difficult feat to accomplish when the wind is changing directions on you.

Good Job, Boys. Now we have a few days to practice and get ready for upcoming FAA matches. We travel to play King on Friday and then Brunswick on Saturday. Good weather or bad, we're going to gear up for these important challenges.

YEAH HOP!
