Author Susan Choi visits Current American Lit Class
On Tuesday, April 5th, Susan Choi, author of A Person of Interest, The Foreign Student, My Education and American Woman, visited the Current American Literature classes taught by Donna Fasano and Katie French. Susan teaches a fiction course at Yale and lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband, Pete Wells, the food critic for The New York Times. Susan talked about her life as a teacher and as a writer and the way in which her personal life intersects with her story telling. She thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being at Hopkins and promised to return next year to spend time with students.
Hopkins is a private middle school and high school for grades 7-12. Located on a campus overlooking New Haven, CT, the School takes pride in its intellectually curious students as well as its dedicated faculty and staff.
