Ella Sangiovanni ’27 Represents U.S. Junior National Team on National and International Stages

On March 5, 2026, Ella Sangiovanni ’27, who outside of Hopkins is a highly-decorated figure skater, placed fourth at the 2026 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in Salt Lake City with her team, earning the prestigious Pewter Medal.

Competing in the junior division with Team Image, an official representative of the U.S. Figure Skating National Team, Sangiovanni’s performance at the championships concluded a successful season on both national and international stages. As members of the U.S. Figure Skating Junior National Team, she and her teammates have spent recent months representing Team USA in the ISU Challenger Series, the highest level of international competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union.

Team Image's season included a fourth-place finish at the Lumière Cup in the Netherlands, sixth place at the Santa Claus Cup in Czechia, and fifth place at the U.S. International Classic in Massachusetts.
