Hopkins Girls Run Well at Home "Meet"
Unfortunately, Hoosac, the team that was supposed to come to run against the Hopkins Girls XC team mistakenly showed up 3 hours early and chose to leave rather than stay, leaving the girls with no opponents other than a hastily assembled group of facutly / staff, parents, xc alums and their friends. The girls' team made the best of it though, and since they ran at the same time as the boys' race, used the both the boys' team and the visiting boys' team (Capital Prep) as motivations and pacers to run fast.
