Alumni Weekend 2021 goes virtual! We remain committed to providing the opportunity for classes to gather in person as it becomes safe and will stay in touch with class leaders regarding those plans later in the year. In the meantime, we hope that you will join us for many exciting events as part of Alumni Weekend, June 4-5, 2021! Reconnect with longtime friends, former faculty members, and take time to recognize the impact your time at Hopkins had on your life.

7-8 PM EST Affinity Group Virtual Gatherings Groups that will be meeting and discussion content will be announced in the spring. If you would like to start a group or become a member of an one of our existing groups (LGBTQ+, Alumni of Color, HBAN, HDA or Razor), please email email@example.com.

Alumni Sports Virtual Gatherings While not the same as playing, join alumni and coaches from your sport as we watch clips from the past and reminisce. Sports that will be gathering will be announced in the spring. If you are interested in organizing a gathering for your sport, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Go Hop!

5-6 PM EST Back to Class Sessions Relive your time in a classroom and learn something new with a session on a variety of topics from Hopkins alumni faculty members. Family friendly!
Session 1: Hopkins Writer-in-Residence Dwayne Betts presents Felon Mr. Betts will perform portions of Felon, his most recent collection of poetry, speak about the Million Book Project, and answer questions in a presentation for Hopkins alumni. To read more about his work, click here.
Hear from this year's Distinguished Alumni about her work in psycho-legal research. Dr. Ellsworth conducted pioneering studies on death penalty attitudes, eyewitness performance, and juries, and is one of the originators of the Appraisal Theory of Emotion. To read more about her work, click here.
6:30-7:30 PM EST Faculty Hour
Drop in and visit virtually with some of your favorite faculty members from the past and present. Faculty members will have virtual bubbles that you can drop in, then easily visit someone else! Faculty member participants include: Dana Blanchard, Erika Chapin, Brad Czepiel, Rocco DeMaio, Dan Drummond, Bill Ewen, Susan Elconin Feinberg, Clay Hall, Renee Harlow, David Harpin, Lan Lin, John Roberts, Errol Saunders, and more!
8 PM EST Class Gatherings Reunion class committees will host virtual gatherings for each class. Grab a beverage and snack and catch up with classmates you may not have seen in years. A perk to the virtual format- easier participation from those who live far away and haven't travelled back for an in person reunion!
