Sapphira Ching '20, who is ranked #1 in New England and #9 in the US, won a gold medal in the first ever USA Fencing sanctioned Super Youth Cup Y14 Women's Saber event. This event was held Friday, February 19 in Austin Texas. Her team fenced against an elite Texan team and the final score was 45-41.

- No. 8 in USA (improved from No. 14, Fall 2015)

- No. 1 in Region3 (New England + NY, NJ & PA)
- Maximum possible points already awarded to secure No. 1 rankings until the end of 2015-16 fencing season.
3) National Ranking in Youth14 list:
- No. 4 among all ranked fencers born 2003 or after
- 1 of only 5 Y12 fencers qualified for Cadet (U17) US Summer Nationals.
4) Medals / tournaments current season to-date:
- 8 Gold

- 16 National & regional tournaments in 14 US cities
- 1 International Youth Cup in London.
5) Other:
- Youngest USA Fencing sanctioned Saber Referee in New England's history. (obtained Level 10 rating at age 11).
- Undefeated in all USA Fencing tournaments in New England this season.
- Accepted invitation to join two elite pre-national camps run by US National Team coaches and Olympians (at Princeton University and Oregon Fencing Alliance)
