Ellis '27 Joins the 100 Win Club
The junior wrestler earned his 100th Hopkins Wrestling win this week.
This past Wednesday at Wilbraham & Monson Academy, Maurice Ellis became the 5th person in Hopkins Wrestling history to achieve the impressive feat of earning 100 career wins - putting him in fifth overall behind Arya Reddy '12 (103), Seth Gerber '08 (114), Eric Fusscas '26 (120), and Richie Fearon '25 (121). He earned this achievement in our dual against WMA where he defeated Chaeyoon Lee at the 144 pound weight class, earning a fall in 52 seconds. Maurice will look to continue to find success on the mats this weekend at the Fairchester Championships hosted by Brunswick School.
