The Hopkins Drama Association presented a successful staging of the play, These Shining Lives on the APAC Theater stage from April 23–25.

The ensemble cast expertly portrayed the true story of the "Radium Girls"—four women who worked for the Radium Dial Company in Ottawa, Illinois in the 1920's and 30's. After feeling the effects of radioactive radium stemming from painting watch dials, the women face challenges at home and in the courtroom as they attempt to bring the company to justice.

Directed by Hope Hartup, with technical direction by David Kenton, the touching performances played with heart and care, as well as the inventive staging, left the packed audiences enthralled and moved.
