Lacrosse Wins Home Opener

The Hilltoppers came out strong against Miss Porter’s and controlled the game from start to finish. Following a tough loss and lackluster performance at Rye on April 2, the team regrouped and improved in all phases of the game from draw control, rides, clears, offense and defense to put together a truly dominating win. Most impressive was an 80% successful clear percentage! With a lead as large as nine goals at various points, the Hilltoppers never faltered from their game plan, even when Porter’s tried to mount a comeback late in the second half. Stellar play from every position on the field contributed to a memorable team win.
