On Thursday, April 30, students taking Hughes Fitzgerald’s Studies in Poetry course engaged in a hands-on bookmaking workshop. Over the past few months, the students have been reading and writing their own poetry.

“As the culmination of their studies, students curated an anthology of their own poetry with a few pieces from their favorite poets, before binding their projects in a soft cover pamphlet,” said Fitzgerald.

The workshop was led by local book artist Paulette Rosen. Each student left the workshop with their own unique collection of poetry to add to their writing portfolio.
